Wire Park

Communications Strategy / Media Relations / Editorial Copywriting

What’s The Situation

What started as a local public relations campaign grew into a comprehensive effort to tell the story of a transformative project for the community.

Gibbs Capital had a grand vision of building Wire Park, a new gathering place for Oconee County, and a crucial piece to that puzzle was attracting the Oconee County Library. They needed help spreading the word that the Oconee County Library was coming to its latest venture, Wire Park.

Tell Me About The Project

Trestle Collective integrated with the Wire Park team to raise awareness, drive interest, attract residential sales and attract visitors to the massive mixed-use project.

How We Helped

The potential of Wire Park became evident early on in Oconee County, and Trestle Collective worked to craft and execute a strategic communications approach to help the development reach that potential from announcing new tenants to sharing news around key construction milestones.

How’d We Do?

Wire Park is living up to its potential, attracting more than 7,500 people to its “wire-cutting” celebration during the 2023 holidays. In the meantime, we’ve played a small role in helping to generate that interest, securing coverage in the prominent statewide media like the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia CEO, as well as respected industry publications like Building Design & Construction. Additionally, Trestle Collective partner, Hinge Creative, developed the original logo for The Grid, the project’s food hall.

They Said It

“Trestle Collective has been an incredible resource as we have worked to build up Wire Park’s reputation as the area’s premier destination to gather. Their collective expertise has served us well, and their support for this project has been such an encouragement as we’ve worked together over the past year!”
